In my classes, you will…

CONNECT with your breath, flow & hold within unique sequences that encourage steady & safe alignment. You’ll strengthen, challenge & expand honoring your individual process. Soften, play & nurture yourself creating a solid foundation of ever-present support. 

ENCOUNTER chanting, pranayama (breath work), mudras (positions of the hands), visualization, chakras awareness, a wide range of music (Bjork, Al Green, Juana Molina, Krishna Das) paired with mindful silence & sacred poetry.  You’ll be guided to honor seasonal changes, what’s happening culturally & the cycles of the moon. 

EXPERIENCE I will sing you into a blissfully restful closing posture creating an expansive experience every time you practice. With reverence for the unique process of each individual, I encourage students to make the practices their own.

  • Flow + Zen is a yoga class catered to gentle movement and calming the mind and body. The class will start with some breath work and then move through a Yin-based yoga flow that is appropriate for all levels. The class will end with a guided meditation so you can leave your mat with a calm mind and spirit.

  • Slow Flow
    Step into a warm, inviting space and immerse yourself in the meditative rhythm of a Slow Flow Vinyasa class. This class combines gentle, deliberate movements with mindful breathwork, allowing you to build strength, improve flexibility, and release tension in a calming environment. Perfect for those looking to slow down, deepen their practice, and find balance between effort and ease. Suitable for all levels, with modifications offered to support your unique journey.

  • Retreat & Restore
    Experience deep relaxation and renewal in this calming Restorative Yoga class. Using props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, each pose is held for an extended period, allowing your body to fully relax and release tension. This practice focuses on rest, stillness, and gentle stretching, helping to soothe the nervous system, improve flexibility, and cultivate a sense of inner peace. Perfect for anyone seeking stress relief, recovery, or a mindful way to unwind, this class invites you to slow down and reconnect with yourself. No prior yoga experience is necessary—just bring an open heart and a willingness to rest.

  • Mindful Mantra Flow
    A full 75 minutes gives ample time for the depth & nourishment of this unique class. Interrupt your overburdened, scattered mind by uniting movement, postures, breath and mantra. In this class, you’ll tap into your truth & potential through sound, harnessing toning & mantra for healing & growth. This practice also includes mindful accessible flowing sequences, pranayama, meditation, & longer held restorative stretches plus Shonali's signature song healing while you rest. Cut through conditioning and awaken your soul!

    Experience the calming and restorative benefits of Yoga through the use of gentle flow, postures with longer holds, mindful breathing and props for support. Soothing and nurturing, allowing the body to return to its natural state of balance. *For all levels. No prior experience necessary

    Live Streaming is done through zoom in the comfort of your own home. Before the class you will receive a zoom link and password. Make sure you have signed up for zoom (their free basic account) prior to your class time.

    Enjoy preparing your space.

    *Have a mat, 2 blocks, 1-2 blankets, a bolster, and a strap nearby.

    *Limit distractions (turn off phone texts and computer messaging alerts).

    *Feel encouraged to light a candle and turn on your own soothing music.

  • Mondays 10am - 11:15am

    A slow-and-steady exploration of foundational postures and somatic awareness with emphasis on coordinating breath with gentle movements and meditative holds. *Appropriate for all levels and ideal for beginners.
